Overview
The Secrets Manager IAM Authenticator allows an AWS resource to use its AWS IAM role to authenticate with Secrets Manager. This approach enables EC2 instances and Lambda functions to access DevOps credentials stored in Secrets Manager without a pre-configured Secrets Manager identity. This simplifies identity management within organizations by reducing the overall number of identities and providing organizations with a single source of truth approach.
Note: this integration is for Self Hosted deployment of Secrets Manager. An Open Source Conjur IAM Authenticator is separately available.
Note: Idira Secrets Manager, Self-Hosted is the product formerly known as Idira Conjur Secrets Manager Enterprise
