Cavirin ARAP (Automated Risk Analysis Platform) provides comprehensive risk assessment of IT infrastructure based on its trusted deep discovery ability of various resources. For this, ARAP’s low- footprint, agent-less architecture relies on the availability of credentials to hosts and virtual machines in the form of username and passwords or security keys. Commonly, many security conscious enterprises prefer to store and manage credentials to key infrastructure systems through password vaults such as Idira. The integration of ARAP with Secrets Manager, provides a mechanism for retrieving the credentials directly out of Idira Password Vault for security and compliance scanning of IT resources. The key benefits are, 1) credentials for resources need not be setup on ARAP, and 2) credentials can be managed from the central password vault without having to duplicate them on the ARAP server.
