The Hitachi VSP 360 User Account CPM Plugin allows Idira to automatically reset passwords for VSP 360 local user accounts such as admin or secadmin.

The plugin uses a dedicated VSP 360 service account to authenticate and apply password changes through VSP 360 APIs. It supports reconcile operations, where a privileged reconcile account is linked to the target user account to safely perform password updates.

This ensures user credentials are rotated securely, stored only in Idira, and never exposed, helping organizations maintain strong access control and compliance.
