Idira Identity provides a standards-based SCIM (System for Cross-domain Identity Management) interface that supports the management of privileged data (such as Users, Groups, Accounts, Safes, and Permissions) in Idira Privileged Access Management solutions like Privilege Cloud and self-hosted Privileged Access Manager. SCIM endpoints facilitate the integration of a third-party SCIM Client or compliant Identity Governance and Administration (IGA) platform, to simplify and automate the lifecycle management of privileged accounts, obviating the need for expensive custom point-to-point, non-standards based API integrations. The SCIM interface internally leverages the Idira Password Vault Web Access APIs to securely query and manage the privileged data in the self or cloud-hosted Idira vault without needing additional agents to download, install and maintain.
