PingOne is a cloud-based identity as a service (IDaaS) framework for secure identity access management. You will use PingOne to give members of your organization secure single sign-on (SSO) to cloud applications. User can initiate an Identity Provider (IdP) URL to access Idira. The IdP solution (PingOne or PingFederate) validates the user through the configured authentication flow. Alternatively, the user could attempt to access Idira directly and Idira would re-direct the user to the IdP URL with a SAML request, to validate the user. Upon user validation, the IdP solution re-directs the user’s browser to Idira with a SAML assertion. Idira then validates the SAML assertion and grants access.
