Overview

Typically, load balancers verify PSM server availability by examining only the network connectivity to the server. The PSM Health Check enables you to determine PSM service availability (health) by querying a dedicated PSM Web Service deployed on each PSM instance. The PSM Web Service verifies the PSM service health of the PSM instance upon request and sends a response to the load balancer.
