- Simplifies and streamlines the secrets management process while building applications using MuleSoft

- Enables MuleSoft to integrate with Secrets Manager to retrieve secrets required by application.

- Workflow:

a. The Secrets Manager MuleSoft Connector sends an API key authentication request to Secrets Manager.

b. Secrets Manager authenticates the Secrets Manager MuleSoft Connector and returns a Secrets Manager access token.

c. The Secrets Manager MuleSoft Connector sends a request for secrets from Secrets Manager. The Secrets Manager MuleSoft Connector presents the Secrets Manager token together with the request.

d. Secrets Manager authorizes the request and sends the secrets back to the connector."
